February was a great reading month for me. The highlights were three fab audiobook listens and two Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) read in ebook format.
Here’s What I Read in February

Mrs. England by Stacey Halls was an incredible story and a great listen, thanks to Imogen Church. If you saw my recent reel, you also know this is a great comp title to my debut novel!

Really Good, Actually by Monica Heisey has gotten a ton of hype and I couldn’t help but see what it was all about. I almost DNF’d in the middle—I was getting a bit annoyed by the protagonist—but I’m glad I stuck it out because in the end, I appreciated the character arc.

Small Game by Blair Braverman fit my mood for a few days this past month, so was exactly what I was looking for. Dark, moody, twisty, on-edge.
A great surprise this month was how fun it is to read Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) through NetGalley! I read two ARCs that I absolutely LOVED and couldn’t put down. I can’t wait for you to get your hands on them later this year.

Amazing Grace Adams by Fran Littlewood, for fans of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and MAYBE fans of Finlay Donovan who are seeking less mystery and more quirk. Oh I just fell in love with the main protagonist, Grace. The story gets a bit outlandish in parts, but I was totally here for it. Pub date set for Sept 5, 2023.

The One That Got Away by Charlotte Rixon, for readers looking for a complicated love story, a father-son story, and a processing of long-gone love. This has some triggering moments, but for me it was cleansing and wonderfully done. Pub date set for Aug 15, 2023.
